Khái niệm câu cầu khiến?

Câu cầu khiến (Imperative Sentence) hay còn được gọi là câu mệnh lệnh. Đây là kiểu câu được sử dụng nhằm các mực đích như yêu cầu, ra mệnh lệnh, cấm đoán, thuyết phục ai đó làm gì. Trong tiếng Anh, câu cầu khiến được dùng dưới thể chủ động và thể bị động.

Trong câu cầu khiến, chủ ngữ của câu thường bị ẩn đi và bắt đầu bằng động từ chính tron câu. Nếu có xuất hiện thì chủ ngữ cũng ở ngôi thứ 2 – YOU.

Ví dụ: 

• Close the window, please! (Làm ơn đóng cửa sổ lại!)
• Go out! (Ra ngoài ngay!)

Câu cầu khiến dùng để làm gì?

1. Dùng câu cầu khiến để đưa ra một chỉ thị trực tiếp

Ví dụ:

• Help me turn on TV! (Bật ti vi lên giúp tôi!)
• Do not open the door! (Đừng mở cửa ra nhé!)

2. Dùng câu cầu khiến để đưa ra một chỉ dẫn hướng dẫn

• Open your book to Lesson 7.  (Các em mở sách sang Chương 4)
• Go straight and turn left on the black building. (Đi thẳng và rẽ trái tới tòa nhà màu đen)

3. Dùng câu cầu khiến để đưa ra một lời mời

• Come join my party tonight at 8 pm. (Hãy đến tham gia bữa tiệc vào 8 giờ tối nay nhé!)
• Come in, please! Make yourself at home. (Mời vào và cứ tự nhiên nhé!)

4. Dùng câu cầu khiến trên bảng hiệu và thông báo

• No smoking. (Không hút thuốc ở đây!)
• Push in. (Đẩy vào)

• Do not come this room. (Không vào trong phòng này!)

5. Dùng câu cầu khiến để đưa ra một lời khuyên thân mật

Talk to him and tell him how you about feel. (Hãy trò chuyện với anh ấy và nói về cảm nhận của bạn.)

6. Dùng câu cầu khiến (câu mệnh lệnh) trang trọng bằng cách thêm trợ động từ "Do"

• Do be quiet! (Hãy giữ yên lặng!)
• Do out (Hãy đi ngoài! )

Một số dạng câu cầu khiến trong tiếng Anh hay dùng

1. Dạng khẳng định của câu cầu khiến trong tiếng Anh

Cấu trúc: V (nguyên mẫu) + (O)

Ví dụ:

• Give me the mobiphone. (Đưa cho tôi cái điện thoại di động.)
• Open your book, please! (Hãy mở sách ra!)

2. Dạng phủ định của câu cầu khiến trong tiếng Anh

Cấu trúc: Do not + V (nguyên mẫu) + (O)

Ví dụ:

• Don’t run outside when it’s snowing. (Đừng chạy ra ngoài khi tuyết đang rơi.)
• Don’t turn off the lamp. (Đừng tắt đèn!)

3. Dạng chủ động của câu cầu khiến trong tiếng Anh

1. Nhờ vả ai đó làm gì đó với get và have. Nó thể hiện sự mong muốn, tự nguyện của bản thân.

Cấu trúc câu cầu khiến với have: have someone do something

Cấu trúc câu cầu khiến get: get someone to do something

Ví dụ:

• I'll have Peter fix my car. (Tôi sẽ nhờ Peter sửa xe của tôi.)
• I'll get Peter to fix my car. (Tôi sẽ nhờ Peter sửa xe cho tôi.)

2. Mang tính ép buộc với make và force. Cấu trúc câu cầu khiến này được sử dụng để ép buộc một ai đó làm gì.

Cấu trúc câu cầu khiến với make: S + make + someone + V (bare)

Cấu trúc câu cầu khiến với force: S + force + someone + to V

Ví dụ:
- The bank robbers made the manager give them all the money.

(Tên cướp ép buộc nhân viên ngân hàng phải giao toàn bộ tiền cho chúng.) 

- The bank robbers force the manager to give them all the money.

( Tên cướp bắt buộc nhân viên ngân hàng phải giao toàn bộ tiền cho chúng.)

3. Mang ý cho phép sử dụng với let và permit/allow

Cấu trúc câu cầu khiến với let: S + let + someone + V (bare)

Cấu trúc câu cầu khiến với permit/ allow: S + permit/ allow + someone + to V

Ví dụ:

• I never want to let you go. (Tôi không bao giờ muốn để em đi.)
• My parents didn't permit/allow me to come home late. (Cha mẹ không cho phép tôi về nhà muộn.)

4. Mang ý giúp đỡ dùng với help

Sử dụng help: S + help somebody to V/ V (bare)

Ví dụ:

• Please help me to throw this table away. (Hãy giúp tôi bỏ cái bàn này đi!)
• She helps me open the door. (Cô ấy giúp tôi mở cửa!)
• This wonder drug will help (people to) recover more quickly. (Viên thuốc thần kỳ này sẽ giúp cho mọi người hồi phục nhanh hơn.)
• The fat body of the bear wil help (him to) keep him alive during hibernation. (Mỡ trong cơ thể của gấu sẽ giúp tích trữ năng lượng cần thiết trong thời gian ngủ đông.)

Dạng bị động của câu cầu khiến trong tiếng Anh

1. Cấu trúc câu bị động của Have/Get: nhờ ai đó làm gì

Have/Get + something + V-ed/V3

Ví dụ:

• I have my hair cut. (Tôi nhờ anh ấy cắt tóc.)
• I get my car washed. (Chiếc xe được tôi rửa sạch.)

2. Một số cấu trúc câu cầu khiến khác

Bạn có thể sử dụng các từ như need, want, would like, prefer để mang ý nghĩa cầu khiến trong thể bị động. Cấu trúc của câu cầu khiến với những từ này như sau:

• Need/want: Muốn ai đó làm gì cho mình (mang ý nghĩa ra lệnh)

 Cấu trúc: S + need/want + something + (be) + V3/-ed

Ví dụ: I want my car washed before I come back. (Tôi muốn xe ô tô của mình được rửa sạch sẽ trước khi quay lại.)

• Would like/prefer: Câu cầu khiến muốn ai đó làm gì cho mình thể hiện sự lịch sự

Cấu trúc: Would like/ prefer + something + (to be) + V-ed/V3

Ví dụ:

• I would like the lamp opened. (Tôi muốn đèn được bật lên.)
• I would prefer the letter to be sent.

(Tôi muốn bức thư này được gửi đi.)
