Câu điều kiện loại 0 | Khái niệm, công thức, cách dùng và bài tập vận dụng
Câu điều kiện là câu diễn tả 1 sự việc, hành động sẽ xảy ra trong trường hợp một sự việc, hành động khác xảy ra.
- Câu điều kiện gồm hai phần: Một phần nêu lên điều kiện của hành động và một phần còn lại nêu kết quả của hành động đó, hay còn gọi là mệnh đề chỉ điều kiện (thường bắt đầu với if) và mệnh đề chính (chứa will/ would)
- Mệnh đề chỉ điều kiện thì luôn đi liền sau từ if

Ví dụ câu điều kiện:
Tùy vào tính chất thời gian và khả năng xảy ra của phần giả thuyết, câu điều kiện trong tiếng Anh được chia thành các loại như sau:
Bài viết dưới đây sẽ đi phân tích kĩ hơn về câu điều kiện loại 0.
Câu điều kiện loại 0 được dùng để giải thích một sự thật hiển nhiên (quy luật thời tiết, vũ trụ, thiên nhiên, …) hoặc các sự kiện mang tính khoa học, một chân lý, hoặc thói quen sẽ xảy ra khi điều kiện thiết yếu xảy ra trước.
Ví dụ:
Tất cả các dạng câu điều kiện nói chung và câu điều kiện loại 0 nói riêng sẽ có 2 mệnh đề. Mệnh đề if diễn tả giả thuyết “nếu”, mệnh đề chính mô tả kết quả “thì”.
Cấu trúc câu điều kiện loại 0:
If + S + V, S + V
= S + V + If + S + V
Cách chia động từ câu điều kiện loại 0:
Ví dụ:
Câu điều kiện loại 0 có chức năng giải thích các sự kiện, sự việc hay các chân lý hiển nhiên như đã nhắc tới ở trên.
Ngoài ra, câu điều kiện loại 0 có thể được dùng khi bạn muốn yêu cầu, nhờ vả, giúp đỡ ai hoặc nhắn nhủ một điều gì đó.
Ví dụ:
Câu điều kiện loại 0 giải thích về một thói quen, hành động hoặc sự việc xảy ra thường xuyên.
Ví dụ:
- If có thể được thay bằng when mà không làm thay đổi ý nghĩa của câu.
Ví dụ:
= When mom is not home, my sister is in charge of cooking.
(Nếu/Khi mẹ tôi không có ở nhà thì chị gái tôi sẽ chịu trách nhiệm nấu ăn.)
= It becomes yellow when you mix red and green.
(Nếu/Khi bạn trộn màu đỏ và màu xanh lá, nó sẽ cho ra màu vàng.)
= When you melt an iceberg, it becomes water.
(Nếu/Khi bạn làm tan chảy 1 tảng băng, nó sẽ trở thành nước.)
- Mệnh đề If và mệnh đề chính có thể thay đổi vị trí cho nhau
Cả mệnh đề If và mệnh đề chính trong câu điều kiện loại 0 đều có thể thay đổi vị trí cho nhau mà ý nghĩa của câu không thay đổi. Ví dụ:
Ex 1: Viết câu hoàn chỉnh dựa theo từ cho sẵn, sử dụng câu điều kiện loại 0
