The bar chart provides data about how much UK citizens in different age of group's spending expenses in food and drink , restaurant and hotel, also entertainment categories during 2004.
Overall, it is clear that at the beginning of the age under 30 figures of restaurant and hotel experienced the highest than other categories. Whereas , both categories food and drink as well as entertainment witnessed a significant rise of 61 + 75.
Regarding the first two age groups UK residents in under 30 in restaurant and hotel services was under roughly 15% of their total spending. 31- 45 between age of people in first category decreased just around 2%. In contrast , trends in under 30 ages of group showed just over 5 and 7 % respectively. 31 - 45 age of UK residents in food and drink classes dramatically increased by 13% , so entertainment figures rise only to 8%.
As for the remaining age groups , spending patterns across older age groups varied greatly. People aged 46 -60 illustrated in food and drink category was over 15% while the figure of other categories was much lower than this amount. People in ages of 61-75 in entertainment spending expenditure was highest , making up just under a quarter , followed by food and drink fifth. Interestingly, they demonstrated thei lowest trend in restaurant and hotel services in 61-75 age groups. Coming to the 76+ age classes in orthodox spending of food and drink refreshments was about 22% while the category of entertainment and restaurarian hotel figures showed over 5 and 13 %respecively in one age group named of 76+.

The diagram above illustrates the expenditure on three different categories,among five different age groups of residents in the UK in 2004 .
People under 30 spend 5 per cent on groceries, however, they spend on restaurants and hotels just under 15 per cent, In addition, they spend a little over 5 per cent on entertainment. On the other hand people aged between 31 and 45 spend approximately the same money on food and drinks , restaurants and hotels they also spend around 7.5 per cent on entertainment.
The people aged 46 to 60 are just over 15 per cent and they spend around 7.5 on both entertainment, restaurants and hotels . The people aged 61 to 75 use only 2 percent on restaurants and hotels, and around 20 Percent on entertainment and groceries . On the other side people aged over 76
spend above 22.5 per cent, also they spend just above 5 Percent but they spend a little under 15 per cent.
Overall, the used money on groceries and entertainment increased significantly by getting older , and the expenditure on hotels and restaurants fell by getting older .

Overall, the British people spent most of their money on food and drinks regardless of age except youth, tend to spend on restaurants and hotels in the given period. Noticeably, as the age increased, consumption of food and drinks exhibited a consistent growth whereas restaurants and hotels accounted for the reverse trend.
According to the graph, the young people of the UK spent more on restaurants and hotels which was slightly less than 15 %, and for food and drinks, and entertainment , total spending ranged between 5-10 percentage. Furthermore, entertainment reached a peak of around 23 % in the age group of senior citizens , before falling to less than 15 % in people older than 75 years in 2004.
However, the total spending on restaurants and hotels decreased to 2 % in the late middle-aged category and after 75 years, it climbed to 7%. Additionally, the expenditure on food and drinks gradually increased to 23-24 % above 75 years old people from 7% in the age less than 30 years during the given year.

Overall, the highest consumption of food and drinks is from 76 years old and above, while citizens under 30 years old spend money on restaurants and hotels. Lastly, aged 61-75 allocate their funds for entertainment.
In detail, in 2004, there was an inclination in food and drink expenses for those under 30 years old by more than 5%, which almost doubled for ages 31-45 years old and nearly tripled for ages 46-60 in the UK. Additionally, 20% of the funds of 61-75-year-old residents were allotted for food and drink, finally, about 3% higher were from residents aged 76 and above.
Money spent on restaurants and hotels was highest for ages below 30 which was nearly 15%. It decreased until aged 61-75 years old with less than a fifth. However, it went up to approximately 8% for those aged 76+.
Lastly, the age range with the highest expenditures for entertainment was 61-75-year-old residents at roughly 23% which has about a 10% difference from ages 46-60 and about three times less than the lowest proportion at about 7% in ages under 30.

Overall, we can see that despite the age group, buying food and drinks are the most useful items in this graphic. The absolutely different trend we can notice if we look to stay at restaurants and hotels.
Teenagers or people who are under 30, prefer to spend their time in restaurants and hotels.By contrast only slightly more than 5% of them bought food and drink. People with the age range 31-45 liked to buy a meal more than the other two. More precisely the percentage of them in being in the hotel and doing entertainment are approximately 13% and 7% respectively.
Almost the same situation we can see with people, which had aged between 46 and 60. But people who were older than 61, almost did not like to stay at a hotel or have a meal at a restaurant. Exactly 20% of them like to buy a dish. While, old people with age between 61 and 75 like to do entertainment as twice, as old people older than 76 years.
