Our client is an freight forwarding company established in Asia, they specialize in e-commerce and seafreight/ airfreight.
Job Description
As a Customer Service Executive, you will report direct to the Customer Service Manager and handle these following tasks:
- Procure the most effective option based on rates, transit time, customers' requirements, etc.
- Generate competitive quotations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding airfreight inquiries and shipments.
- Address customer questions and issues promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Manage the logistics of airfreight shipments, including booking, tracking, and documentation.
- Collaborate with carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process, proactively communicating with customers about any delays or changes.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation to ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to airfreight shipments.
- Work closely with the operations and sales teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
- Assist in the development of operational improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Monitor customer feedback and service metrics, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in freight forwarding and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in air and ocean freight customer service or freight forwarding.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, regulations, and industry practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office.
