What You'll Do

As a Sales Manager focusing on the Harbour sector, your role will be pivotal in driving sales growth in Hanoi or Hai Phong. You will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships within the port industry. Your ability to match our solutions with customer requirements will be key to your success. This role offers the flexibility of working from home while being part of a supportive team.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share in the harbour and port sectors.
  • Identify and generate leads through market research, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Execute a solution-based sales approach, matching solutions with customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the port and logistics sector.
  • Conduct regular site visits and meetings with port management to understand their operational needs.
  • Present products effectively to potential clients, emphasising key features that support harbour operations.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial terms with clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to provide feedback to internal teams.
  • Work closely with technical, after-sales, and service teams to ensure smooth delivery at customer sites.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager position will bring a wealth of experience from the industrial or heavy equipment sector. Your established connections within the port, harbour or logistics sectors will be invaluable as you identify new business opportunities. Your strong communication skills will enable you to build lasting relationships with key decision-makers. A good technical understanding of heavy equipment using harbour and port will be essential in this role. Your ability to work independently and manage your own schedule will be key to your success.

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the industrial or heavy equipment sector
  • Proven experience and established connections within the port, harbour, or logistics sectors
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Good technical understanding of heavy equipment
  • Ability to work independently in a home-based role
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales reporting, and Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in Vietnamese with a good command of English
