Role: This position is responsible for commercial controlling of company’s investment in TT channel to ensure timely, accurate, cost effectiveness financial & management reporting in accordance with SPVB policy, Tax and other local requirements. Provide stewardship toward SPVB cash out for commercial agreement’s settlement by assessing risks, designing effective process and internal control. Support to deliver Key financial KPIs including Revenue, D&A/ S&D cost control, NOBPT & Cash flow
Job Responsibilities
- Financial Control and Asset Stewardship
- Safeguard company’s investment in TT channel by providing settlement approval & effectively commercial custody for all activities to distributors/ Agents, secondary Outlets, SPVB and distributor’s sales forces…
- Assess risk, design effective internal control and drive the continuous improvement for settlement process to protect company assets & implement financial risk’s mitigation plan to deliver key financial KPI including Revenue, NOBPT & Cash flow.
- Control D&A/ S&D spending within approved budget and in effective manner to support delivery of Revenue, NOBPT & Cash flow
- Financial Transaction & operating Control
- Oversee the issuance/ receipt, verification and retention of VAT invoices, settlement documents in compliance with internal Control, Tax and other statutory requirements…
- Oversee the issuance of Credit/ debit MEMO & timely recognition of actual payment in accordance with accounting standard & internal process.
- Lead self-assessment, internal audit, Tax health check, corporate audit & independent audit… related to Trade Settlement
- Month End Closing and Financial Reporting
- Deliver timely, accurate and complete financial statement (P&L, Balance sheet) through D&A, S&D investment’s accrual quality, monitor actual payment and fall-in/fall out
- Ensure accounting recognition integrity related to Trade investment in TT channel.
- Prepare financial reports: Monthly Balance Sheet, BSHS, mid-month outlook… to proactively and timely report potential issues/ opportunities related to Trade investment in TT channel
- Partnership & Process Efficiency
- Advise process, financial and control implication to support decision making of business partner, drive commercial growth a sustainable way.
- Provide solution for complex issues with balancing risk and benefit for business
- Drive completeness and speed of service for the whole TT trade settlement process until bank transfer, AR offset or Free Good/ Gift issuance… to upgrade customer service level
- Partner with TT leadership team to implement initiatives/ automatic solution/ system development… for sustainable growth
- Coaching and capability building
- Coach and build team’s capability on technical accounting, tax, policies and controls process through knowledge/ best practice sharing, rotation and training.
- Support Commercial Controller in designing a strong organizational structure for achieving business objectives and developing Finance/Control talents
- BA or MA degree in Accounting/Auditing/Finance. Minimum 7 years experiences in similar roles
- Strong technical understanding and knowledge including accounting standard, tax, legislation, company policy and procedures.
- Strong system knowledge and fluent usage of ERP system
- Good Excel and other Microsoft Office Skill (e.g Pivot Table, charts, Dashboard, PowerPoint)
- Good communication, problem solving & influencing skill
- Ability to work under time pressure, work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lead the agenda, initiate and implement best practice tool/processes to improve effectiveness in daily operation
- Ability to coach and build team’s capability on technical accounting, tax, policies and controls process through knowledge/ best practice sharing, rotation and training.
