* Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the BIM Execution plan for each project, and ensure that deliverables for each phase of the project are in produced in line with the prescribed BEP.· Coordinate closely with the project team in conjunction with the BIM Manager, and ensure good BIM modelling housekeeping, especially as model complexity and documentation volume increases.
- Manage and mentor a team of BIM modelers, providing guidance and support to ensure that BIM standards and procedures are being followed Work closely with the BIM team members across all principle disciplines especially with regard to LOD, clash detection and rectification, and problem solving.
- Assist the BIM Manager in reviewing BIM models and data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure that BIM models are being used effectively to improve design coordination and communication
- Assist the BIM Manager to provide BIM training and support to project team members, as needed
- Where necessary, participate in project presentations and meetings with on the deign team and BIM Manager to promote new BIM methodologies, tools, and techniques which may help in enhancing project productivity.
- Ensure that BIM data is being managed and archived appropriately for future use
- To be familiar with BIM/Revit software.
- Good grasp of engineering principles and spatial co-ordination within the chosen discipline.
- Exposure to infrastructure design processes also advantageous
- Must have some appreciation of interfacing with architectural, MEP and structural disciplines
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to learn and retain new skills quickly from a variety of sources and show potential to work with limited supervision.
- Experience in working under quality systems, specifically the check and review process
- Intimate knowledge of industry standard layouts and nomenclature
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Working in teams to meet required deadlines
