Our client is a British-owned company that manufactures (mainly) toys in Asia. We are looking for someone
based in Vietnam with a background in production planning (of Toys would be a bonus) who could fulfill a
production planning role,
The production planner has a pivotal role in ensuring that the standard of production is exceptionally high
and the delivery is on time. We are looking for a flexible, independent, and detail-oriented person. The
candidate should possess knowledge of production planning and be willing to enlarge his/her skill set in
the industry. It is a big plus to have strong communication skills and cross-cultural awareness.

Main responsibilities
01. Manage purchase orders with our suppliers to meet the target on-time delivery.
○ Collaborate with the head office in the UK on order placing and confirmation on time
○ Manage orders completed & inspected before/on the Original Ship Date
○ Manage on-time launch of new items
○ Collaborate with Development/ Quality and the UK Planning teams to solve all issues to
avoid pending order confirmation or delaying shipment
○ Ensure the data updated on the system is accurate & up to date
02. Manage capacity booking and planning, anticipate potential production bottle-necks
○ Update the available capacity twice per month for PO placement
○ Tracking the actual production & alerting the risk for immediate actions
○ Anticipate all (potential) risks & work on solutions

Working hours: Mon to Fri (40 hours/week)
Location: WFH, able to travel to the factories if required by the manager
