As a Business Development Manager, your role will be pivotal in shaping the company's international division. You will develop and execute comprehensive regional business plans that include detailed customer analysis, product strategy, business development activities, and competitive analysis. Your ability to deliver on agreed sales, volumes, and profit targets will directly impact our success.
The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role will bring a wealth of experience from the Pharmaceutical Market Development sector. With at least 3 years of experience in a managerial role, you will have a proven track record of driving results independently. Your strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally will be key in building strong stakeholder relationships across company functions. - Manage, support and influence the development and implementation of business strategy.
- Assess the obtainable market and corresponding growth opportunities in the pharmaceutical market of Vietnam.
- Develop and execute a regional business plan including sales & marketing plans, detailed customer analysis, product strategy, business development activities, and competitive analysis.
- Deliver agreed sales, volumes, and profit targets.
- Monitor partners/distributors forecast/orders/stocks.
- Analyse market trends, available opportunities and risks for Vietnam pharma market.
- Strategise to increase business opportunities with existing accounts and identify new ones.
- Provide feedback for further product portfolio enhancements based on market trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams for product optimization.
- Develop new areas of application for existing products and services.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or related field required. Advanced Degree/Masters in related healthcare/business field desirable.
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role within Pharmaceutical Market Development, Market Access, Healthcare, or Policy.
- Cross-functional experiences including Field Sales, Portfolio Management, Regulatory, Business Development are desirable.
- Ability to drive results independently.
- Strong communication skills demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
- Deep knowledge of the Vietnamese access, reimbursement, and pricing landscape for pharmaceutical products (both Private and Public sector – tenders).
- Experience with pharmaceutical marketing principles and practices.
- Skills in Vision and Strategy , Leadership and Influence , Collaboration and Teamwork , Action and Accountability, Analytical Approach for Impact.
- Proficient in English.
