RV Group specializes in high-quality imported pharmaceutical products as well as domestically manufactured products meeting EU-GMP standards. Operating under a unified Arms Length (AL) commercial model, our partners are primarily domestic pharmaceutical enterprises and distributors. With the expansion of our product portfolio and the integration of both Imported AL and OPV AL operations, we are seeking a dynamic Business Development & Market Access Manager to join our team.


Job Summary:

The Business Development & Market Access Manager is responsible for developing, strengthening, and managing strategic commercial partnerships across all RV Group product lines. The role requires strong commercial judgment, analytical capability, and cross-functional collaboration. In addition to partnership development, the position plays an active role in customer analysis, product (molecule) opportunity assessment, and coordination with Regulatory Affairs to support market access and timely product approvals.


Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Partnership & Business Development

Develop and manage strategic partnerships with AL customers to drive sustainable growth for imported and RV–OPV EU-GMP products. Align commercial execution with regulatory progress to maximize market access and portfolio performance. 

Customer & Market Analysis

Lead customer and market analysis to assess strategic fit, commercial potential, and regulatory capability of partners. Provide actionable insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to support integrated commercial and regulatory strategies.

Regulatory Affairs Coordination & Relationship Management

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory experts and reviewers to ensure effective follow-up and progress of priority products. Work closely with the Regulatory Affairs team to identify gaps, drive dossier follow-up, and support timely submissions, clarifications, and approvals with the MoH. 

Product & Molecule Opportunity Assessment

Assess potential molecules and product opportunities within the RV–OPV portfolio based on market demand and regulatory feasibility. Translate market opportunities into commercially attractive and regulatory viable proposals, with a focus on priority products.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and regulatory timelines. Report regularly to the Hanoi Branch Head on partnership performance, regulatory progress, key product follow-up, and new business opportunities.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related field. Advanced degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven combination of commercial (sales, partnerships, business development) and regulatory affairs (registration, dossier follow-up, MoH interaction) experience.
  • Experience with both imported pharmaceutical products and domestically manufactured EU-GMP products is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of the domestic pharmaceutical market, AL commercial model, and public/private channel dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of Vietnam pharmaceutical regulations, registration processes, and stakeholder landscape, including interaction with regulatory experts and reviewers.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess customers, markets, and product opportunities.
  • Good understanding of regulatory processes and coordination with health authorities is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in English is an advantage.
