Key Responsibilities:

• Source, set up and manage suppliers based outside of mainland China. This includes key sub suppliers
• Develop supply chain strategies to improve the global supply chain operations whilst minimizing costs and security risks.
• Working cross-functionally to manage transition of projects from China to Offshore facilities including localization of components
• Plans, manages and coordinate ordering activities to support global operations to meet business requirements
• Oversee weekly visibility updates with corporate, and monthly commercial meetings with suppliers

Responsibilities:

• Lead cross functional teams for the transfer of existing and/or new projects to be implemented in offshore facilities, driving cost reductions and increasing the local sourcing of key components
• Work with the NASC, CNSC and the factories to maximize output of the factories and ensure on time delivery in full.
• Collaborate with the CN Commercial teams to identify cost reduction and local sourcing options. Working with quality, ME, & engineering teams to source new vendors and onboard into Shark Ninja AVL.
• Manage commercial arrangements with suppliers including contractual arrangements, cost negotiations and order management.
• Plan, manage and coordinate activities with related to order management, sourcing and procurement of necessary materials to support required outputs
• Support the use of SRM to manage suppliers, order management and cost management. Maintain system data to ensure that SRM / Oracle as the single point of truth for data integrity.
• Develop supply chain strategies that the support the ongoing growth of the global supply chain, mitigate supply chain risks and improve supply performance for the business
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve their performance to support SN needs outside of China

Qualifications:

• B.S. or BA in supply chain management, science and/or engineering. Master or advanced degree (engineering, sciences or business) preferred. APICS, SCORE or similar will be well regarded.
• 5-8 years of supply chain management and planning experience for a global or multi-plant Consumer Products/Electronics company
• Experience in Lean, TPS or Six Sigma is advantageous.
• Experience with site capacity planning and/or global product supply planning and knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, MRP/MPS processes is advantageous
• Experience in developing and implementing world class, global supply chain planning processes and managing them
• Exposure and experience in Consumer Electronics manufacturing process, principles and practices; preferably at production site in addition to corporate
• Experience in working internationally in a fast paced, reputable global consumer product company organized in a matrix structure
