Job Description

What will you work on?

Carry out full product development activities and provide engineering support at vendors for engineering builds and debug to meet the product specifications, cost and schedule.

How will you create impact?

• To work with vendors and Headquarter on the product design to hit the target cost.
• Handle the consigned material and special components sourcing and cost negotiation.
• Assist sourcing, MOQ and cost negotiation on new material.
• Provide technical support and debug as needed.
• Provide support to the internal group on any production output issues and material authorization review.
• Monitor the schedule and on-site support from development start to OBS.
• Provide manufacturing support as needed after Production Start.

What are your skills and experience?

• At least 8-10 years’ experience in the (Hard / Soft toys) industry。
• Has knowledge in the (Hard / Soft toys) industry standards for different countries。
• Knowledge in pattern creation & sewing technique is required.
• Able to make frequent trips to suppliers as required.
• Experience in Sewing/Stitching/Stuffing/Embroidery/Softgoods materials
• Understand surface decoration like spray painting, tampo printing, heat transfer.
• Understand assembly process like ultrasonic welding, gluing, heat staking.
• Ability to provide risk assessment and mitigation plan.
• Very hands on and data driven.
• Strong project management skill and communication skill.
• Able to transform vision into clear strategy, goal, and objectives.
• Familiar with licensed product process and approval.
• Possesses superior problem-solving skills, and independent decision-making abilities, all while operating in an extremely demanding, fast-paced team setting.
• Has knowledge in the soft toys industry standards for different countries.
• Excellent communications skill in English is a must and Mandarin/Cantonese is an added advantage.
