Book-Keeping and GL Reports

• Ensure proper booking of all transactions related to company income and expenses
• Check all payments and receipts vouchers. Ensure that stipulated and statutory books/records are maintained in accordance with the company’s accounting policies, country la
• Responsible for timely and accurate monthly closing, quarterly and yearly corporate reporting

Tax

• Respond to tax enquires from internal and external parties
• Responsible for quarterly, yearly reporting and all matters related to accounting-tax information to authorities

Governance/ Compliance/ Controls

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and local tax and statutory requirements
• Review and ensure internal controls are in place and working effectively
• Ensure necessary documentation and records are in place, according to local statutory requirements
• Oversee, liaise and manage the internal and external audit process

Banking

• Handle all payments through online banking
• Ensure bank reconciliation on monthly basis timely
• Coordinate with the bank for bank’s credit/debit and transfer to the supplier overseas advice • Ensure safe storing of documents and integrity of data control/storing

Planning/ Budgeting/ Forecasts

• Manage the cash flow for the company to maintain it in the most optimum condition for the achievement of the company’s objectives

Payroll
Through liaison with the HR payroll department:

• Progress with budgets
• Upload the payroll table on the online banking

Other jobs

• Be the interface with external parties such as banks, tax offices, statistics bureaus, etc
• Other jobs assigned by line managers
• Including but not limited to voucher binding and voucher review within the accounting function

Educational qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting related major
• Chief Accountant Certification is a major advantage

Relevant experience:

• Having IT industry experience, especially related to app/mobile games with paid functions in Google/Apple etc is a must.
• Accounting software experience is an advantage
• English language communication is a plus (not a must)
• Good at Excel, especially can make finance statements in Excel is a plus

• Have strong knowledge of accounting - tax experience
• Strong analytical skill
• Meticulous,  hardworking, honest, and trustworthy
