NexGen Global 🌐 has teamed up with one of Southeast Asia’s most pioneering technology organisations. If you're passionate about Data Science and AI - we are currently recruiting for a Chief Data Scientist (AI Lab) in Vietnam.

What you will do:

• Lead the design, fine-tuning and deployment of advanced deep learning AI models
• Direct the research and implementation of advanced AI models, leveraging the latest developments in neural networks, NLP, computer vision and reinforcement learning
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI models from research and experimentation to deployment and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the Data, ML and Product teams to ensure seamless integration of AI models into production environments.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, incorporating cutting-edge techniques into existing workflows.

What’s already expected:

• A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Extensive experience in developing and fine-tuning deep learning models - including CNNs, RNNs, GANs and transformers.
• Expertise in AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning architectures, including model training, optimisation and model deployment.
• Proven track record of successfully deploying AI models in production and continuously improving their performance.
• Leadership experience in managing data science teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
• Fluency in Vietnamese language is a necessity due to liaising with local stakeholders
