- Oversees the preparation and update of training materials
- Ensures daily smooth restaurant operation and fully manages all aspects of the restaurant in the absence of the GM or GD.
- Ensures that all team members deliver a high level of guest service at all times.
- Works with the assistant manager and supervisors to train team members in guest service skills.
- Handles all customer issues and queries in a polite and efficient manner, ensuring problems are resolved properly and within reasonable time frames.
- Manages and approves the P&L report process together with the Accounting team.
- Maximises team productivity using flexible rostering to keep staff costs at minimum while still balancing expectations of all guests.
- Champions the creation, implementation and continual update of the Restaurant Marketing Plan, and working closely with the Directors.
- Ensures restaurant standards have been implemented at an international level.
- Monitors operations and schedules and manages team effectively and efficiently in both peak periods and low business periods.
