Position summary statement:

The Senior Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the Sales & Marketing in maximizing the hotel’s market share and achieving budgeted room night and revenue targets within the designated corporate segment. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, and identifying new business opportunities to drive growth. The incumbent is also expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and represent Pan Pacific Hanoi and PPHG with integrity at all times.

Sales & Client Management

• Proactively manage a portfolio of corporate accounts within the assigned geographical/business market to exceed budgeted room revenue.
• Conduct a minimum of 20 physical sales calls per week and perform telesales as required.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients to maximize repeat business across all hotel services including rooms, events, and restaurants.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities; develop strategic sales action plans to convert prospects into clients.
• Represent the hotel at industry events, exhibitions, and client functions to promote brand visibility and strengthen relationships.
• Provide ongoing account servicing and gather client feedback to ensure high satisfaction levels and service recovery where necessary.
• Willingness to be based in Ho Chi Minh City for a minimum of one week and up to two months periodically, to develop new accounts and strengthen market presence.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

• Maintain an up-to-date marketing database, including detailed account profiles (usage patterns, historical growth, key contacts, competitor activity).
• Monitor and report on competitor activities, including promotions, rates, and events to support strategic positioning.

Financial & Revenue Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed assigned revenue and room night targets, ensuring contributions align with departmental and hotel-wide goals.
• Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, market trends, and account development progress.

Administration

• Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of all sales documentation, client communication, and reporting tools.

Guest Relations

• Engage clients through regular in-person meetings, entertainment, and communication to enhance loyalty and retention.
• Handle client concerns or issues promptly, ensuring follow-up and resolution are conducted professionally.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with internal departments (Banquet, Reservations, Front Office, etc.) to deliver seamless guest experiences and drive cross-selling opportunities.
• Participate in hotel-organized functions and contribute to a collaborative, guest-focused culture.

Training & Human Resources

• Serve as a role model, consistently upholding Pan Pacific’s values and standards.
