JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will assume a dynamic finance leadership position at a new manufacturing (fully setup) in the North of Vietnam (shuttle bus from Hanoi). They will collaborate closely with both corporate and local management teams to develop strategies and growth initiatives, while also leading and enhancing the finance department.

• Expertise in costing, pricing, tax, treasury, and financial regulations.
• Experience with foreign bank transactions and project finance is a plus, especially in managing investments and cash flow.
• Proactive, flexible, and persuasive with strong leadership skills.
• Ideal for someone ready to drive strategic financial decisions in a growing company.

JOB REQUIREMENT

(I) Education

• Bachelor of Accountancy, Finance or Business Administration or Master of Business Administration
• Relevant certification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent is an advantage

(II) Work Experience

• At least 15 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in senior managerial role (such as Finance Director or Financial Controller) responsible for Finance
• Prior experience with multinational company in electronic manufacturing industry and hands-on costing is preferred

(III) Other Skills

• Fluent in written and spoken English and basic Mandarin
• Good business acumen and strong with numbers and financial discipline
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills
• Proven leadership, driver, team-builder and high integrity
• Meticulous and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Familiar with accountability and risk management required of a public-listed company and subsidiaries

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the corporate and local management teams on the development, implementation and management of business plans, strategies, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, trends, costing and financial reports
• Execute and monitor financial strategies and decisions of the Company to improve profitability, cash flow and cost control, and optimise the Company’s operations, financial performance
• Provide and drive financial analysis and strategies, and guidance on all activities related to the Company’s operations
• Manage the Company’s internal and external financial reporting, and implement risk and compliance management framework
• Manage and optimise corporate tax and other taxes (including VAT, withholding tax, import duties, etc.) in full compliance with the country and international tax regulations
• Review internal processes and internal controls to ensure that the Company’s financial systems and processes are compliant, robust and able to support current activities and future growth
• Manage the relations of external parties including bankers, auditors, tax advisers and other stakeholders
• Manage, evaluate and develop team of employees to meet functional deliverables and responsibilities
• Uphold and demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Group’s core values and policies (including code of conduct) and ensure that direct reports are trained on their knowledge and adherence to local laws and the Group’s core values and policies.
