Responsible for customers' development with an assigned customer portfolio, from customer acquisition to protect with the target to achieve a set sales target turnover, increase share of wallet and customers’ satisfaction. Working predominantly virtually with available digital tools, to establish customer relations, build trust, improve understanding of the customer buying center and orchestrating a team of supporting parties to meet customer needs, considering the cost-efficient and effectiveness ratio.


RESPONSIBILITY

Impact on Business

  • Promote & sell company’s range of products & services to industry segment market / Sales Area
  • Implement Business Strategies in promoting the Pneumatic products/ process products/ Electrical automation products cascaded by Sales Manager
  • Execute given marketing & sales direction to achieve sales objectives
  • Develop and delivers sales planning activities together with the Industry Segment Manager for further implementation
  • Periodic reporting on market trends, sales projections, competitor activities and major sales activities highlighting on possible solutions of any shortcomings
  • Drive improvement in the provision of products/ services to customers
  • Conduct regular workshops, technical presentations and demonstrate , provide technical consultant to customers
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
  • Establish good relationship with existing customer and sources for new customers to expand market base
  • Prepare quotation to customer or through the assistance of Customer Service staff and does follows up accordingly to conclude sales
  • Arrange automation dialogue sessions with customers for presentation purposes
  • Attend to product complaints and suggestions from customers
  • Generate/ Identify leads for project business
  • Discuss sales activities and improvises on sales functions
  • Follows up on problematic overdue sales account as and when required
  • Use of CRM tool for customer relationship management
  • Assists in urgent goods delivery as and when required
  • To perform any ad hoc tasks been assigned from time to time

  • Identify and verify future trends of customers and secure the transfer of information to the company.
  • Support the market development through identification of additional business opportunities.


Communication with internal and/or external Customers, Suppliers as well as Third Parties

  • Act with customers and identifies key decision makers and influencers on customer side
  • Represent the brand at the point of customer contact
  • Maintains personal and written contacts with customers and prospects
  • Negotiates contracts for relevant customers
  • Internal communication (Sales Team, Technical Service, Service Hub) for general coordination of interdepartmental issues and about customer needs


QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years in sales with industrial automation or relevant business.
  • Good English.
  • Good in computer skills such as Microsoft office, internal Sales platforms.
  • Strong performance and problem-solving orientation.
  • Openness and Flexibility.
  • Customer orientated and analytically strong.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Pro-Active attitude.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Highly organized, even in a scale-up environment.
  • Result-driven and self-motivated.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Engineering/Technical products background and/or first sales experience.
  • Experience in direct handling of customers, ideal in a virtual/digital environment.
  • Ideally experiences in pneumatic/electrical product industry.
  • Have an own car & driving license.
