We are looking for Estimating Team Leader experiencing with service customer requirements to ensure the timely and efficient processing of building material quantities, while overseeing a team.
* Key Responsibilities
- Lead the estimation process for specialty residential and commercial projects.
- Oversee and manage the estimation team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all bids.
- Collaborate closely with management teams to ensure the estimation process and team knowledge are aligned with the customer and company.
- Analyse and interpret construction drawings, technical documents & consultant Reports
- Producing accurate Bill of Quantities & raising Purchase Orders.
- Liaise with customers to provide clear, detailed, and accurate cost estimations.
- Ensure designs/estimates are quality checked and designs are compliant with relevant Australian Building Standards & client specifications
- Contribute to weekly workflow planning and ensure estimates & production orders are completed as required.
- Identify and implement solutions to blockages threatening on-time delivery in conjunction with management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials costs, and construction methodologies.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings during the estimating process.
- Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.
