JOB DESCRIPTION
The POS Manager plays a critical role in driving the success of our company by developing innovative Point-of-Sale (POS) software solutions and implementing strategic go-to-market plans within the Retail and F&B industries. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a strong understanding of industry trends. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of POS software development, from initial concept and design to successful implementation and ongoing support for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Development:
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies in the POS space within the Retail and F&B sectors.
- Develop innovative POS software solutions that address specific business challenges and enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., software engineers, designers, product owner) to translate business requirements into functional and user-friendly POS systems.
- Define product specifications, features, and functionalities for our POS software solutions.
Business Development & Implementation:
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for our POS software solutions with a focus on Retail and F&B industries.
- Identify and target key market segments and develop tailored value propositions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners in the Retail and F&B sectors.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to showcase the value proposition of our POS solutions.
- Oversee the implementation process, including training, onboarding, and ongoing support for clients.
Project Management:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of POS software development projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve any roadblocks, and ensure project success.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, proven experience in developing and implementing successful POS solutions in the Retail and/or F&B sectors.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
