JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Developer (Ruby) to join our engineering team. As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems using Ruby on Rails. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that power our products and enhance user experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby code.

●      Developing and maintaining applications using the Ruby on Rails framework.

●      Designing and implementing RESTful APIs for front-end integration.

●      Optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and security.

●      Troubleshooting and debugging server-side issues.

REQUIREMENTS

●      Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field

●      At least 3 years of professional experience in back-end development with Ruby/Python/PHP

●      Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

●      Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization.

●      Experience with non-relational databases (MongoDB) is a plus.

●      Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

●      Experience with unit testing frameworks

●      Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, Vuejs) for integration purposes.

●      Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

●      Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

●      Experience with AWS services such as ECS, ECR, S3.

●      Working with marketing API such Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), ... is a plus.
