* We are seeking an experienced Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager to lead and develop our procurement, logistics, and transportation operations. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on leader who is passionate about building a high-performing team, improving processes, and delivering exceptional results. You will play a critical part in sourcing, supplier management, international trade, logistics coordination, and team capability development.
* KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- International Purchasing Management
+ Manage and oversee all purchasing activities, ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulations.
+ Lead strategic negotiations of foreign trade contracts covering pricing, quantity, specifications, technical standards, transportation, insurance, delivery terms, and payment methods.
+ Develop and strengthen long‑term relationships with global suppliers and business partners.
+ Supervise the handling of quality, shipment, and insurance-related claims with suppliers and insurers.
+ Conduct regular analysis of purchasing volumes, pricing levels, and market trends to propose optimal buying strategies.
+ Train team members in product knowledge, negotiation, procedures, and claims management.
+ Source new products based on market trends and customer needs; evaluate and manage new suppliers.
+ Oversee supplier qualification processes and update supplier capability, product range, shipment timelines, payment terms, and development plans.
+ Recruit, mentor, and develop new team members to build a high-performing procurement team.
- International & Local Logistics Operations
+ Arrange, supervise, and optimize import and export procedures.
+ Monitor delivery timelines, shipment volumes, and transportation expenses to ensure cost-efficient operations.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with Customs authorities, shipping lines, and logistics partners.
+ Analyze logistics performance and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
+ Negotiate and secure bookings for cargo transportation across international and domestic channels.
+ Collect and analyze cost data related to ocean freight, inland waterway, and road transport.
+ Update relevant departments and the Board of Directors on regulatory changes affecting logistics or cost structures and propose action plans.
- Oversee customs declaration activities and ensure accurate HS Code application and import cost control.
- Customer Service
+ Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to import–export procedures and product quality.
- Team & Performance Management
+ Organize and manage team workload; evaluate team performance.
+ Analyze customer and market needs to propose appropriate strategies.
+ Prepare periodic reports for management purposes.
+ Perform other assignments from leadership.
+ Recruit and develop new staff to maintain a strong, capable team.
