I. Main Target

• The General Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies.
• This Position involves preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the finance department with audits and budget preparation.
• Ensure accounting documents, postings, tax reports comply with local regulations, to be posted on time and accurately on Accounting Software (ProAlpha/SAP/FAST).

II. Main Accountabilities

1. Financial Accounting Transactions

• Posting all expenses, incoming invoice (material, service, asset, …) acrual, bank, costing, depreciation.. into ProApha.
• Ensure the accounting entry be posted accurately reflected the company transactional reality through the timely posting of all required items and ensure compliance with Vietnam regulations.
• Resonsible for all posting of accounting’s activities and trial balance, balance sheet, PL on ProApha, FAST.
• Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

2. Tax Compliance:

• Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., VAT, corporate tax,withholding tax, …).
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and monitor changes in tax laws.
• External reports to authorities as needed.

3. Audit and Compliance:

• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

4. Financial Reporting

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports.
• Monitor actual expenses against budgets and report deviations

5. Other Duties

• Collaborate with the finance accounting team to improve accounting processes and systems.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Support special financial projects as required
