Position Overview: The Chief Engineer is responsible for managing all technical aspects, including Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Reactive Maintenance (RM), and overseeing a team of 7 technicians across 3 locations and 4 buildings. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to support both the client and Facility Management (FM) teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Management:

Oversee and manage all technical systems across all locations, including HVAC, FM200, UPS, and Fire Extinguisher systems.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Team Leadership:

Manage and coordinate a team of 7 technicians, assigning 2 technicians to each of the 4 buildings.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to the technician team.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify areas for skill development.

Maintenance Oversight:

Develop, implement, and oversee Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Reactive Maintenance (RM) programs.
Ensure timely completion of all scheduled maintenance tasks and emergency repairs.
Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Multi-site Management:

Coordinate operations across 3 locations, each approximately 10km apart.
Implement standardized procedures and best practices across all sites.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure consistent quality of service and address location-specific issues.

Client Support:

Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client.
Provide expert guidance and support during client audits.
Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to the client.

Facility Management Support:

Collaborate closely with the FM team to ensure seamless integration of technical and operational aspects.
Assist in developing and implementing facility management strategies.
Provide technical input for budgeting, resource allocation, and long-term planning.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements and new technologies to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in facility engineering and maintenance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
Minimum 8 years of experience in facility engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of HVAC, FM200, UPS, and Fire Extinguisher systems
Excellent project management and team leadership skills
Experience in multi-site facility management
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Facility Manager) preferred
