Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory & Compliance

• Provide legal guidance on all aspects of F&B and nightlife operations, including licensing, health and safety regulations, alcohol laws, and employment standards.
• Ensure the company remains compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations, staying ahead of legislative changes that may impact operations.

Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including vendor agreements, lease agreements, partnership deals, and intellectual property protections.
• Manage and mitigate contractual risks while ensuring favorable terms for the business.

Risk Management & Litigation

• Proactively identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Track and report compliance issues to senior management, providing solutions and follow-up actions
• Oversee any legal disputes, managing external counsel when necessary, and ensuring swift and cost-effective resolutions.

Liaising with Authorities and Stakeholders

• Support corporate governance activities, including board resolutions, company policies, and regulatory filings.
• Advise on corporate structuring, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Collaborate with legal, HR, and other departments to ensure cohesive compliance efforts.
• Engage with external regulatory bodies and auditors when necessary.

Investigation and Reporting

• Investigate incidents of non-compliance or breaches of company policy.
• Prepare detailed reports on investigations, findings, and recommended actions.
• Ensure timely reporting to senior management and relevant authorities as required.

Training & Education

• Conduct regular training sessions for management and staff on legal best practices, employment law, and ethical compliance.
• Always update new policies and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding compliance queries.

?‍? Ideal Candidate:

? Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law

? 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in hospitality, F&B, and nightlife

? At least 1 year of experience working at law consulting firms

? Fluent in English and Vietnamese

? Experience in employment law, labor disputes, taxation, and social insurance

? Excellent communication and negotiation skills

? Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
