GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The role will cover purchasing for the Pharma plant in Vietnam and support the Group Procurement Team in strategic sourcing for Categories as Aluminum, Chemicals, Films and Paper in Asia.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES - KEY ACTIVITIES
- Execute purchasing strategies and supplier development as per Group Procurement direction.
- Manage cross-functional interfaces to plant procurement and Group Procurement
- Conducts regular market analyses on a regional level
- Build and execute strategies and tactics to meet or exceed overall business objectives and department KPIs.
- Building and optimizing a short term and long term vendor base with vendor performance evaluation
- Ensure Purchasing Orders are timely and properly maintained and processed in the system.
- Provide employee coaching and creating appropriate training programs to enhance their capabilities and to meet their future development.
- Submit monthly report as per request from Group Procurement & business
