PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Pattern Technician ensures consistent, high-quality pattern adjustments and full grading to meet company fit standards, optimize material usage, and resolve fit and technical issues—while coordinating with the HK counterpart for sample development and delivering accurate patterns and documents to the production center on time for smooth and efficient production.

GENERAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Excellence & Operational Delivery – 70%

• Ensure all assigned pattern tasks are completed on time as per deadlines set by the Team Lead, to avoid delays in the product development and sampling process.
• Ensure patterns are aligned with brand specifications, internal quality standards, and bulk production feasibility.
• Do Grading to approved base patterns to generate a full-size set-in accordance with brand-specific grading rules and measurement charts.
• Attend fitting session to analyze garment fit, and revise patterns based on fitting outcomes, production comments, and hanger appearance to improve wearability and look.
• Maintain updated records of all pattern versions (base, graded, and final) for reference, re-use, Understand and analyze material behavior (stretch, shrinkage, stability) and ensure correct pattern application according to fabric type and garment construction.
• Review pattern-to-sample consistency to ensure samples are made as per the approved technical specs, pattern, and BOM documents before submission to the P&F counterparty or production.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication – 30%

• Proactively communicate with Pattern & Fit counterparts in Hong kong or other teams to resolve discrepancies or pattern issues before passing work to the Production Center.
• Work closely with the Product Development in HK and Production teams to ensure technical clarity and alignment of pattern work with production capability and efficiency.
• Perform other technical or administrative tasks assigned by the Team Lead or head of PD to support overall team success and company targets.

• Lingerie/Intimates garment experience (with Gerber and PLM system knowledge)
• Proven experience as a Pattern Technician
• Must be able to communicate in English as the position will report to an expat manager
• Capability to work with tight deadlines and collaboratively in a team environment
