Mô tả Công việc
The Export Documentation Specialist coordinates and monitors export shipments, ensuring proper documentation for customs clearance and compliance with U.S. export regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Document Management: Create, maintain, and audit all export documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely provision to customers and freight partners.
- Supplier Communication: Communicate with international suppliers and third parties to ensure timely receipt of documentation and provide guidance on related inquiries.
- Credit Analysis: Analyze customer credit requests related to late documentation and provide recommendations for approval or denial.
- Compliance Assurance: Assist in maintaining export compliance for customers after initial setup.
- Regulatory Reporting: Accurately report international shipments to the U.S. Census Bureau via the Automated Export System (AES) and update filings as needed.
- Invoicing and Payments: Update freight invoicing logs and process payments, coordinating with corporate accounts payable.
- Correspondence Retention: Maintain international correspondence per U.S. Customs requirements.
- Data Collection: Collect and update information in line with team performance measures.
- SOP Maintenance: Maintain and recommend updates to Standard Operating Procedures for the documentation team.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and assist in implementing changes.
- Regulatory Awareness: Stay updated on export regulations and communicate changes to management.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in International Business, Business Administration, Import/Export or equivalent experience.
Have 1 year of experience or below.
*Fresh gradudates will be trained. This job provides great opportunity for you to work closely with US colleagues and improve English skills.
- Basic understanding of export compliance requirements and documentation rules for various countries.
- Familiarity with export logistics and international transportation.
- Excellent English communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with document management systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Empathetic and professional response to vendor and customer inquiries.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
