Purpose of the position:

1. Takes responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects for an organization while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope
2. Basing on knowledge, experience, relationship to develop business of project department in Viet Nam

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Supervises and coordinates freight movements with internal departments, the DSV worldwide network and customers. Develops an effective communication system to ensure maximum service to customers.
• Manage projects including monitoring, planning, coordinating and scheduling employees and services of vendors; arranges site visit and consultation and personally supervises on-site deliveries or vessel loading/un-loading when necessary. Travels to job and sites as required.
• Conducts analytical feasibility studies for customers; negotiates rates, prepares and submits bids, tenders and quotations.
• Interfaces with vendors/suppliers, receives and reviews bids and ensures excellent services quality. Reviews service performance periodically.
• Keeps abreast with developments in the areas of inland trucking, AF, SF, including barging and landing craft operations.
• Interfaces with government bodies, carriers and customers to obtain information and forecasts. Feeds significant changes to Project Director . Maintains working knowledge of Customs requirements.
• Interfaces with customers to identify their needs; provides solutions to customers’ requirements. Is totally customer service minded.
• Establishes Forecasts, Budget and Business Plan for the Projects division; supervises and implements controls and ensures to meet goals and budget targets.
• Ensures that country laws and regulations are obeyed, industrial and company policies, guidelines, procedures and practices are followed.
• Coordinate with Project Specialist, QHSE Team to investigate; give root cause; find corrective action all Incidents occurred on site; or barge. (if any)
• Developing project business in Viet Nam with target KPI achievement from Project Director or Management per year.
• Update and report critical issues to Project Director in-time.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

• University Degree/Equivalent
• Six years business experience preferably in the areas of Projects, Windmill, turbine, heavy-lift and out-of-gauge / Oil & Gas / Sea & Air freight forwarding
• Professional and confident salesperson based on the knowledge and experience approach
• Project and time management/time allocation and organizational skills with attention to the details; multiple tasking skills
• Strong planning, analytical, customer-oriented
• Excellent communication skills in local and English languages, both oral and written
• Heavy Lifting Specialist
• Project Management Professional 
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to work in a diverse environment and culture
• Strong customer relationship building and alignment skills
• Outgoing, self-motivated, organized, focused, goal driven and able to manage him-/herself
