Overview

Team Manager, Priority Banking is responsible for driving the development and growth of the Priority Banking segment business goals. You will build and deepen profitable relationships with customers while leading a team of Relationship Managers. This role requires a strategic mindset to plan tactical sales initiatives, manage team performance, and ensure operational excellence within the branch.

Responsibilities

Strategic Business Development & Sales Management

• Develop business potential by planning and implementing tactical sales and marketing strategies to source new avenues for growth.
• Manage the sales performance of Relationship Managers (RMs) to achieve individual targets and meet overall Key Result Areas (KRAs).
• Solicit retail business and maintain strong rapport with customers, prospects, and business partners to broaden account relationships.

Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

• Lead, coach, and train RMs to improve competency, promote career development, and foster a conducive environment for teamwork and growth.
• Work closely with the Branch Service Manager to monitor banking operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance with guidelines, and effective credit risk management.
• Represent Hong Leong Bank Vietnam in the community and drive cross-selling efforts to provide referrals within the Group.

Skills & Experience We Are Looking For

• Professional or tertiary qualification; previous experience in Mortgage Direct Sales or Wealth Management is an added advantage.
• Minimum 6-8 years of related working experience in Financial Institutions.
• Strong organization and planning skills with a proven track record in leadership and people management.
• Effective written and alternative communication skills, with a proactive mindset and the ability to embrace new challenges.
