Job purpose

Assure smooth operation for schools’ events, marketing events and others on request.

Job Description

Be in charge of marketing events, such as Opening Ceremony, Open Days, etc.

Coordinate and support organising schools’ events, such as Mid-Autumn Festivals, Halloween, Winter Concert, etc. and others on request.

Identify the schools’ requirements and expectations for each event.

Support schools to prepare costumes and props for events when necessary.

Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.

Manage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes.

Maintain event budgets.

Book venues, entertainers, photographers, and schedule speakers.

Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the client’s standards.

Assess an event’s overall success and submit findings.

Create his/her own system to keep track of the workload and meet deadlines.

Report to his/her line manager weekly.

The post holder will, from time to time, be required to undertake other duties of a similar nature as may reasonably be required by his/her line manager.
