Role Summary
We are looking for an Accounting Intern to join the GFT APAC team and help build our rapidly expanding business, while striving to ensure world-class technology solutions and services are realized by our clients. This position is based in Ho Chi Minh City and will act as the focal point between global GFT teams, and our clients’ technology, operations, and commercial teams in Vietnam.
As an Accounting Intern, you will have a chance to be trained and support accounting duties in assisting the Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager to organize and implement accounting and social security works in timely manner.
Key Activities
- Under VAS, perform bookkeeping for assigned accounting sections under Senior guidance and supervision
- Check invoices and related documents to process payments for suppliers/staff and expense recognition; including reviewing supplier contracts.
- Assist in preparing back-up for tax reports (CIT, VAT, PIT, FCT) and payments to the State Budget.
- Support month-end closing including accruals, entries allocation, and accounts reconciliation.
- Support monthly financial reports under Vietnamese accounting regulation and support for other management reports as requested.
- Support in Social Security (De)registration and follow-up.
- Support in dependent registration for PIT purposes.
- Co-ordinate with overseas colleagues where assigned by the Manager/Senior
- Co-ordinate with external audit, bank, tax, and social agent officers as requested.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager and senior accountant.
