TICO GROUP (TICO TRAVEL)

Key responsibility will be pricing and the procurement of market competitive ocean and airfreight rates with carriers and shipping lines.
Negotiate with carriers and shipping lines to achieve optimum freight rates with cost optimization for the company in mind.
Develop and maintain positive and close relationships as well as company image with carriers and shipping lines on behalf of MP Logistics.
Evaluate and analyze carriers and shipping lines cost as well as service performance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Support and align with business development and sales teams to gain and achieve ocean and airfreight business for MP Logistics.
Inform and notify weekly market updates to customers as well as to internal teams at MP Logistics.
Responsible to oversee and manage the day-to-day forwarding operations at MP Logistics.
Manage, supervise and instruct junior operations and documentation staff.
Handle and track ocean and airfreight shipments according to the company's standard operating procedures.
Solve operational matters when they appear or are presented during or after any shipment.
Ensure that operations are closely followed according to company's standard operating procedures.
Report directly to line manager for any irregularity.
Report the task and performance on a weekly as well as monthly basis to management.
Perform other tasks as assigned by MP Logistics management.
