Smartcom has a strong presence in high schools, public institutions, and major corporations in Vietnam.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an English Teacher at Smartcom Vietnam in Hanoi. The English Teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, delivering engaging educational content, fostering effective communication in the classroom, and utilizing innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• English Teaching and Lesson Planning skills
• Experience in Education and Teaching
• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Knowledge of English language proficiency exams (e.g., IELTS) is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field
• TESOL or TEFL certification preferred

Responsibilities:

· Teach English courses, including IELTS, Cambridge English, TOEIC, general English, and communicative English.

· Deliver classes at Smartcom's training centers, branches, university and high-school partners, and other projects.

· Prepare and deliver engaging and effective English lessons.

· Assess student progress and provide feedback.

· Collaborate with the teaching team and management to ensure high-quality education.

· Other projects (optional):

o Proofreading and editing teaching materials and other written contents.

o Voice and/or video recording for online courses and mobile apps.

Benefits:

· Salary: Starting at US$2,000 NET per month for full-time teachers, or an hourly rate from US$22 NET per hour depending on the type of class/project for part-time teachers. Fixed exchange rate applied. (Salary paid on the 15^th of the following month.)

· Working hours: 100 working hours per month for full-time teachers, or flexible hours for part-time teachers.

· Sponsorship: The company sponsors and assists with the visa, Vietnamese Work Permit, and Temporary Resident Card application process. Part-time teachers will be responsible for their own visa and work permit fees.
