Currently we are looking for a capable and independent individual for the following position as part of the multi-disciplinary team in our Vietnam office. Lead the growth of Arup’s Electrical Team ensuring that the Team structure is consistent with workload and the requirements of our Clients (internal and external);

• Lead the growth of Arup’s Electrical Team ensuring that the Team structure is consistent with workload and the requirements of our Clients (internal and external);
• Implement technical project reviews ensuring high attention to QA/QC of technical deliverables;
• Undertake project management of large scale MEP projects;
• Liaise with project stakeholders including Clients, Architects, Quantity Surveyors etc;
• Provide technical support to the Business Development effort including bid preparation, scope monitoring and participation in technical negotiations;
• Participate in resource planning, ensuring a suitable resource fit for existing and potential new projects;
• Ensure that commercial aspects of projects are addressed and kept up to date through the use of Arup’s Project Financial Forecast (PFF) tool (training will be provided) and participation in monthly commercial meetings;
• Participation in senior management meetings as required;
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years relevant working experience;
• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering;
• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant professional qualifications or a Master Degree in a related field;
• Previous experience of managing an Electrical Team in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment is essential;
• Previous experience of working in Vietnam will be an advantage
• Fluency in English (spoken & written) is essential;
• Knowledge and experience in the design of Data Centre and/or Infrastructure will be an advantage.
• Holding relevant certificates issued by Uptime/ TIA or others recognisable international organizations in the data center industry/ high-tech industry is a significant advantage.
