I. Key Job Duties
II. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT / SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES
- AR/AP/General Ledger
- Input accounting transaction data into accounting software (Business Central/Dynamics 365).
- Verify documents, payment requests to ensure compliance with VAS/IFRS standard, tax regulations and company policy before processing payments.
- Check, allocate and book all GL transactions such as accruals, other cash / bank payments, receipts, fixed asset depreciation/disposal, Prepaid expense allocation, etc
- Maintain organized filing of documents.
- Prepare accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and balance cash reports.
- Provide Fixed asset code from the accounting system to the Purchasing & Admin department when there is a change (addition, liquidation…) in Fixed Asset list, and assist them in affixing the Fixed asset code to the physical asset;
- Review list of fixed assets regularly and perform periodic as well as random checks to ensure actual physical positions of the Fixed assets at the office match with the system’s record.
- Manage, update Inventory file and do monthly reconciliation with the inventory-related records of the Purchasing & Admin department
- Prepare monthly journal entries and close the books.
- Reporting and Compliance
- Support the Chief Accountant in completing the Monthly Financial Report.
- Prepare and ensure all quarterly VAT, PIT, CIT reports, annual Financial Reports in compliance with tax regulations. Regularly reconcile book accounts with the Tax Department and work with the local tax office.
- Stay up-to-date on all Vietnamese laws and regulations related to tax and accounting matters.
- Management accounting
- Monitor spendings of assigned expense categories according to the approved budget, variances explained in the monthly management report.
- Spot weakness in the control process and suggest ways to improve efficiency and minimize financial risks.
- Support manager in annual budgeting and forecasting of P&L, BS and Cash Flow
- Perform other tasks as required.
II. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT / SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience (especially in Accounts Payable/ General Accountant).
- Strong understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards, tax regulations, and corporate laws.
- Experience in financial reporting is preferred.
- Experience in general accounting is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Proficient in English, equivalent to TOEIC 700 or higher.
- Experience with SAP or Dynamics is preferable.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Self-motivated learner with strong research skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, logical thinking, and a positive attitude.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
