Who We're Looking For

CodeLink is looking for a senior-level Accounting & Finance Manager to lead our finance, accounting, and operations functions across multiple international entities. This person will not only ensure the integrity of financial operations and client billing but also be a key contributor in shaping and executing the company's accounting & financial strategies.

You'll lead a small operations team (accountant, admin, executive assistant), collaborate with Founders and senior leadership, and play a pivotal role in financial planning, pricing strategy, and operational excellence.

If you have international experience (preferably in the US) with strong English communication skills, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and multi-entity structures, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

Take full ownership of the Accounting, Finance, and Operations functions at CodeLink
Participate in leadership and strategy discussions, contributing financial insights and operational recommendations for annual and quarterly goals
Lead the creation, assignment, and tracking of quarterly company goals that relate to finance and accounting, ensuring cross-functional alignment and execution
Identify financial and operational opportunities or risks, and advise the leadership team on actions to drive growth, efficiency, and cost optimization
Oversee external audits and due diligence efforts, and ensure compliance with all tax, labor, and regulatory requirements across entities
Manage and support a small operations team of three: one accountant, one admin, and one executive assistant

Accounting & Internal

Oversee all bookkeeping, payroll, and tax processes for Vietnam and the US, working closely with local accounting vendors.
Manage monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Oversee labor contracts and personnel documents, manage PIT finalization, social insurance & related processes, ensuring full compliance with Vietnamese labor laws and regulations.
Ensure timely and accurate salary processing, tax filings, and statutory reporting.
Maintain clean and accurate financial records, reconciliations, and financial statements for internal and external reporting needs.
Ensure compliance with Vietnamese tax and labor laws, as well as international accounting standards.

Finance & Planning

Build and maintain financial models, including P&L monitoring, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis (estimated vs. actual performance)
Develop projections based on current and future project pipelines, staffing changes, and rate adjustments
Support salary benchmarking and planning tools to ensure compensation remains market competitive and performance-aligned
Track and assess client financial health; escalate risks related to delayed payments or debt exposure
Continuously improve the company's cost structures and payment methods, optimizing for efficiency and reduced banking fees

Client Accounting Management

Own the client billing and invoicing process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and follow-through on collections
Maintain and regularly update rate cards based on market trends; advise management on when to adjust rates
Lead client conversations regarding rate adjustments, procurement procedures, and overdue payments, and escalate to direct communication (calls) when necessary
Serve as the primary point of contact for finance-related onboarding steps for corporate clients, including collaboration with the procurement team, document preparation, and vendor registration processes
Ensure consistent follow-up and escalation of overdue invoices to drive timely payment completion

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or similar certification is a plus
Proven experience (5+ years) in financial and accounting roles, including at least 2 years in a managerial position
Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) — able to handle client conversations and leadership meetings
Prior experience working or studying abroad. Experience working or studying in the US is highly preferred
Familiarity with VAS, IFRS, Vietnam Tax & Labour regulations, financial systems, and international accounting standards
Experience maintaining an accounting system, e.g. Quickbooks, Xero
Hands-on experience managing multiple legal entities and cross-border finance operations
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and present financial insights clearly
Proactive, assertive, and able to lead conversations with internal teams and clients
