About this opportunity:

As part of the Ericsson team, you will join our dynamic team as an Integration Engineer, where you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality network integration solutions. You will work on signalling across Packet Core, IMS, and 5G networks, focusing on system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless connectivity. This position offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact closely with clients to optimize and innovate their network systems.

What you will do:

Network Integration and Testing:

• Prepare, implement, and execute test cases for system integration, upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
• Ensure smooth integration of signaling protocols and core network functions, including authentication, QoS, charging, and policies.
• Perform troubleshooting and take corrective actions to maintain service quality.
  
  

Technical Expertise:

• Integrate Packet Core and IMS network functions with a focus on QoS, charging, and billing flows.
• Work on signaling protocols such as SS7, Diameter, HTTP, TCP/SCTP, and IP networking.
• Utilize Linux, scripting tools, and virtualization platforms (Kubernetes, 5GC, Cloud).
  
  

Collaboration and Delivery:

• Define integration strategies aligned with client contracts and expectations.
• Collaborate with engineers, solution architects, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare handover documentation, manage exit criteria, and deliver optimum customer value.
  
  

Pre-Sales Support and Consultation:

• Assist in pre-sales activities by analyzing requirements and proposing integration solutions.
• Define and estimate project scope, cost, and timelines, ensuring efficiency in delivery.
  
  

Compliance and Process Management:

• Adhere to global and local E+OHS, data security, and privacy protocols.
• Ensure proper configuration and validation of operating systems, hardware, software, and licenses.
  
  

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in telecom integration.
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of Packet Core (authentication flow, QoS/policies, charging flows) and IMS networks (QoS, charging, billing flows).
• Proficiency in signaling protocols (SS7, Diameter, HTTP, TCP/SCTP) and IP networking basics.
• Experience with Linux, scripting, and tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, 5G Core (5GC), Kubernetes, and database systems like Cassandra and SQL.
  
  

Communication and Problem-Solving:

• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and process improvement skills.
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and customers.
  
  

Desirable Skills:

• Certifications in networking, system integration, or project management.
• Familiarity with data security, privacy compliance, and E+OHS standards.
• Knowledge of local and global legal and financial directives affecting telecom integrations.
