1. Cooking, Recipe Testing and Refinement:

• Conduct regular testing sessions to refine recipes, ensuring they meet high standards of taste, quality, and consistency.
• Solicit feedback from customers, store staff, and relevant stakeholders to enhance and perfect menu items.

2. Menu Development:

• Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and create innovative menu items that cater to local tastes and preferences.
• Keep abreast of food trends in Vietnam and globally, integrating new and exciting flavors into 7-Eleven‘s food offerings.

3. Quality Assurance and Safety:

• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all food products meet 7-Eleven‘s quality and safety standards.
• Work closely with suppliers to source fresh and high-quality ingredients for menu items.
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Stay updated on relevant health and safety guidelines.

4. Training and Collaboration:

• Train and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure the consistent execution of innovative recipes.
• Foster a culture of creativity and continuous improvement within the culinary team.

5. Cost Management:

• Develop and manage budgets related to the innovation kitchen, ensuring cost-effective menu development without compromising quality.

6. Marketing and Promotion:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns highlighting new and innovative menu items.
• Participate in events and promotional activities to showcase 7-Eleven‘s culinary offerings.

7. Others:

• Some other additional tasks as directly requested by the line manager.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chef, with a strong background in culinary arts and innovation.
• In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese and international cuisines.
• Creative mindset with the ability to adapt to local tastes and preferences.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Education and Experience:

• Degree in culinary arts or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience as Head Chef or related positions.
• Proficiency in English or Japanese (all language skills - listening, speaking, reading, writing) is mandatory; or candidates can also be Japanese.
