The Position

The Associate QA Engineer plays an important role in assuring the quality of OPSWAT cyber security technologies and products at the highest level. As a member of the team, you will be involved in every stage of the software development life cycle.

What You Will Be Doing

• Write/review detailed test cases and perform manual testing based on requirements and documents.
• Analyze/review product documents and requirements.
• Handle support escalation such as creating reproducible bug reports or help troubleshoot.
• Report/manage defects.
  
  
  

What We Need From You

• BSc Degree in Computer Science, Technology or similar field.
• Software testing with a good QA mindset preferred.
• Experience in performing basic testing such as: manual testing, functional testing
• Familiar with writing manual test cases using scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript.
• Have a good knowledge on different Operating Systems (Windows, Linux) and Browsers.
• Familiar with working in Agile team.
• Good at reading and writing in English communication.
  
  
  

It Would Be Nice If You Have

• Familiar with JIRA, TeamCity, Git.
• Experience in performing different types of advanced testing such as: integration testing, usability testing, compatibility testing, performance testing, security testing, regression testing
• Cyber security domain experience, including file security, device security, network security, etc.
• Have a good knowledge about networking.
• ISTQB exam
