Mô tả Công việc
- Manage the Product Development team to ensure samples are delivered on time
- Manage Customer Finish Panels
- Work with the Colour Technicians on customer finish panels.
- Approve customer panels before sending to customers
- Work with R&D on new finish and material development
- Work closely with our customers on their sample developments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product specifications, including design, features, materials and performance criteria.
- Create and manage project timelines, ensuring critical milestones are met throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Coordinate prototype development, testing and validation, collecting and analysing data to inform product refinements.
- Work with Purchasing to source components, materials and production processes that meet quality standards and cost targets.
- Work with QA to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and safety requirements throughout the product development process
- Monitor post-launch product performance, gathering customer feedback and implementing improvements based on market insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies and advancements in product development methodologies to enhance product offerings.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Bachelor’s degree in product design, engineering, industrial design or a related field.
- Proven leadership skills.
- 3+ years of experience in product development or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of product development processes, from ideation to completion
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and cost optimisation techniques
- Proficiency in product design software and tools. Inventor and Auto CAD
- Knowledge of 3D solutions such as 3D printing and scanning.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality products.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A creative mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
