- Develop original product designs (OEM, ODM+) that meet Article’s requirements
- Lead the review, assessment, and approval of Initial & Final Prototype review sessions for your projects, coordinating with Design, Category Management, Sourcing, Quality, Industrial Engineering and other cross-functional teams as required
- Day to day communication with the manufacturers, product design, quality and sourcing teams, arranging prototypes of new products, monitoring the progress of all new developments
- Review prototypes and make recommendations, ensuring that the product meets specifications of design briefs
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date information in project management software (Wrike) and work towards specific launch goals
- Prepare documentation of accurate product specifications
- Contribute to Article’s construction guide as required
- Participate in Pre-production meetings and production verification meetings
- Travel within Vietnam is required. Possible travel to Indonesia, Malaysia, and China may also be required

- 3+ years experience developing casegoods products with a high level of casegoods construction knowledge
- Post Secondary Education in product development, industrial engineering, or other related field is required
- Successfully leverages capability in role
- Ability to apply competency in complex situations
- Requires only occasional guidance to ensure outcomes
- Demonstrates capability consistently and with some confidence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in speaking and communicating in English (Vietnamese is a plus)
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with Wrike (or another PLM software)
- Proficient with G-suite
