Summary Responsibilities:
▪ The Vietnam Head of Internal Audit is responsible to lead the local audit team to assess internal control environment health and ensure proper audit coverage. Key tasks include conducting risk assessment, audit planning, fieldwork execution, reporting and follow up and validation of audit issues, in order to help business, maximize operational efficiency, balance risks/controls, and comply with company and regulatory requirements.
▪ The Head of Internal Audit will also assist the Plan Owner in all functional and administration matters as needed

Principal Responsibilities:
*** Assume the role of Internal Auditor
1. Develop and maintain internal audit policies and procedures to ensure alignment with MetLife’s requirements and local rules & regulations
a. Independently and objectively review and evaluate internal control and risk management activities;
b. Independent assessment of the suitability and compliance with regulations, internal policies, procedures and processes established in BIDV MetLife;
c. Make recommendations to correct and overcome errors, propose measures to improve the efficiency of systems, processes and regulations, contributing to ensuring BIDV MetLife operate safely, efficiently and in accordance with the law.
2. Plan and execute audit process & regular checks on business activities to identify control weakness, identify key business implications and recommend remedial actions
3. Reports:
a. Produce reports to recommend business actions to maximize business performance & operational efficiency while balancing risks & control.
b. The results of internal audit must be promptly reported to the Board of Members or General Director of the enterprise.
4. Partner with line management and work in collaboration with Compliance and Risk functions to ensure all significant business and regulatory risks are anticipated, and appropriately managed

1. Develop customer-centric service
2. Continuously review and update policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and to ensure operation efficiency
3. Continuously assess the operational risks of the operations and recommend appropriate remedial actions

*** Ensure that all operations and activities undertaken comply with regulatory requirements, Board of Member and MetLife's direction.
