The position

We are looking for hands-on Software Engineer to join and develop MetaDefender Access solution. If you are the one who likes solving challenges, and not settling down for anything less, then let’s join us and build great things together!

What You Will Be Doing:

• Design and develop robust The Secure Remote Access software components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and help maintain code quality.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve existing processes and systems.
  
  
  

What We Need From You:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python, C++
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL DB.
• Experience with socket programming.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
• Experience with Git, BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, TeamCity (or the equivalent.
  
  
  

Network and Security:

• Familiarity with network protocols and their functionalities.
• Understanding of secure remote access concepts and technologies.
• Understanding of OSI, TCP/IP model.
• Experience with network protocols and security best practices.
• Understanding of security best practices and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
  
  
  

It Would be Nice If You Have:

• Java
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, ECS...).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
• Understanding of DevOps tools and practices.
