Job purpose:
• Direct and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting team to quickly & accurately record the revenues, expenditures, assets, and liabilities of the authority.
• Providing all relevant insights on expense movement to enable timely business decision-making as accounting management adviser.
• Providing Tax advice to Board of Management/ End users for not only daily matters but also for new initiatives.
• Ensure timely update of Tax regulations to minimize Tax risks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. REPORTING
• Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and post journal entries.
• Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to board of managers
- Perform financial analysis, expenses movement and reporting to management as needed.
- Responsible for timely monthly review financial statements, AP-AR aging, payments, cash-flow management reporting to General Manager & Board of Management.
2. TAXATION
- Be a Tax advisor for Management and End Users.
- Lead of Tax Audit (if have).
- CIT calculation & finalization.
- Transfer Pricing: TP local file, TP master file.
- Prepare document and payment request for dividend transfer.
- Be a Trainer for internal training/ update relating to Tax.
- Tax heath check: support Tax health check.
3. RISK MANAGEMENT/ AUDIT
- Manage auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing the requested documentation.
- Develop and maintain internal control matrix and effective accounting system and policies.
- Management of accounting warehouse (data, document).
- Oversee all internal and external audits matters and be a key contract point of Auditors.
4. PLANNING
- Support to make budget, control budget and propose to reduce & cut cost.
- Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures to adapt business growth.
5. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Manage staff's performance to ensure smooth operation of accounting team.
- Coach, train and support the staff's development plan.• Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in finance/ accounting.
• Experience:
- At least 3 years' experience in accounting function as Leader or Above in MNC.
- Having good knowledge and experience in Transfer Pricing and Tax areas: CIT, VAT,
FCT.
- Experience in working with Tax Audit is a plus.
- Proficient in MS office and SAP.
- Familiar with BPC working and submission.
