The Job
- Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Collaborate with FE/BE developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Gather and address technical and design requirements
- Provide training and support to internal teams
- Write well-tested software to ensure quality, responsiveness, and efficiency
- Write technical documentation
- Troubleshooting issues and problem-solving as necessary
Your Skills and Experience
- At least +3 years' experience in BE, DBA & DevOps
- Have knowledge in following technologies: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Familiarity with common stacks
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, Go)
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with development tools (e.g. Git, Docker, Cloud services)
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle
- Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
- Familiar with agile software development processes and tools
- Nice to have AWS Certification
- Excellent working attitude, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Previous success in developing and shipping a large-scale application with a user-empathetic mindset
- Enjoy technical challenges and are eager to explore new technologies
