The Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Android Embedded Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software components on Android platforms, with a strong focus on system-level programming and multimedia frameworks.

• Develop embedded software using C/C++ (C++17, C99).
• Work with Makefiles, CMake, and Android build toolchains.
• Contribute to Android system programming, including HAL development.
• Execute and analyze tests, summarize results, and create test reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and debug system components.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience in C/C++; knowledge of template meta-programming is a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux/Android systems, especially HAL, Stagefright, DRM/KMS.
• Experience with Google Test; knowledge of CTS/VTS is a plus.
• Understanding of multimedia frameworks: GStreamer, OMX, CODEC 2.0, H.264/HEVC.
• Java and Android app development experience is a plus.
• Python scripting skills are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, self-driven, and team-oriented.
• Customer-focused mindset with good at English speaking skills.
