Reporting to the Manager of Business Planning, the incumbent is responsible to gather, interpret, evaluate, interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and/or projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making. Measure and analyze the company performance and its evolution, to synthesize the information through accurate dashboard and KPI's with subsequent comments and recommendations to internal stakeholders allowing them to take business decisions in line with the objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with the Commercial and IT departments to align on data maintenance and structuring, ensuring clean data for building accurate dashboard synthesis via SQL and Power BI
- Work with relevant departments to define, measure, and analyze business performance metrics/KPIs and all programs, facilitating decision-making.
- Track the program performance and propose the correct payment if needed to customers to facilitate Commercial/Marketing teams with further validation for payment.
- Supply other business functions with necessary automated data for them to proceed further with the calculation of incentive for all salesforce team and to serve other business purposes of business partners
- Lead the Commercial Review meeting with business performance evaluation, program performance result and suggest the actionable recommendation to improve the business.
- Ensure the proper function of Power BI premium workspace with optimal dataflow creation and reports.
- Assist the Manager of Business Planning to establish business plan and projections, which include market share, sales volume, product pricing strategies, industry profitability, excise tax structure implications, etc.
- Take lead in finding and suggesting methods to obtain relevant information about the dynamic of
- Vietnamese market environment where reliable information is not readily available.
- Conduct comprehensive and data driven analyses to assess implications on market dynamics, which include macro-economic factors, regulation, competitive landscape, and customers/consumers’ trend.
- Prepare periodic update/reports to local management and Regional Head Quarter on company’s performance, competitors, industry, and market dynamics.
- Supporting the Manager of Business Planning to run ad hoc business analysis in collaboration with business partners to evaluate different business scenarios.
- Fluency in written and spoken Vietnamese and English.
- University degree in a business-related discipline such as Data Science, Finance or Economics.
- At least 4 years of experience in data analytics, finance, business planning/development or marketing. Cross-functional working experience is desirable.
- Strong analytical thinking skills, ability to learn new topics quickly & analyze large datasets.
- Works well in a cross functional team environment with colleagues from diverse countries, comfortable communicating with senior management, tolerant of ambiguity, able to creatively solve business problems, experience in preparing and presenting presentations for internal stakeholders.
- SQL experience to extract data from data warehouse/data sources, intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI Desktop, Power BI Pro Online and Google Data studio for data visualization (data extraction (ETL), dashboard creation).
- Knowledge about Python (machine learning) is an advantage.
