We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Managerial Accountant to lead our managerial accounting activities and support strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of accounting standards, and proven experience in managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and analyze management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support business decision-making.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with various departments to gather and validate financial data.
• Implement and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures related to managerial accounting.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Mentor and guide junior accountants and finance staff.
• Assist in financial planning, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managerial accounting or financial controlling.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis).
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MISA) is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving mindset.
NICE TO HAVE
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Experience working in multinational companies or complex organizational structures.
• Experience in designing and implementing digital systems and automation tools.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance related to managerial accounting.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in process improvement and automation tools for finance functions.
