The Senior Logistics Specialist will play a critical role between the Company, the Suppliers/Clients, and Forwarders to ensure on-time delivery at optimized costs for all shipments in and out of Vietnam and Australia.
Role and Responsibility
External partners (Forwarders/Brokers/Custom/Suppliers/Clients, etc.)
• Work with forwarders and business partners to ensure shipments are dispatched and delivered to the right destination/ Clients at the right time.
+ Handle shipping operations including booking vessels, following shipping schedules, shipping documents, customs clearance and solving related problems.
+ Verify BL, PL, CO, CQ, HS Code, Custom clearance docs.
• Settle payments for forwarders, logistics brokers, etc.
• Handle daily tasks related to shipment progress, follow the parcel lists from suppliers, and submit required documents to clear and release shipments on time.
• Arrange bookings for shipment via couriers. Coordinate with forwarders for all shipments of Sports/ Motorsport from Vietnam/ China/ India to Australia/ New Zealand, keep WIP and internal systems up to date.
• Work with Australia Post to solve all queries from Clients/ other teams regarding delivery issues (missing parcel, lost in transit, damaged parcel, etc.)
• Monitor the lodgment process with suppliers/Australia Post for all shipments to ensure the lodgment time with SLA and update the internal system.
• Maintain relationships with current business partners and develop new ones to get continuous services and gain competitive shipments rates and maximize profitability.
Internal partners
• Cooperate with internal departments to forecast weekly shipping capacity.
• Support Vietnam & Australia warehouse and corporate IT team to solve all issues related to Unmanifest, parcels, missing check-out/ manifest, label duplication, etc.
• Cross check cost and authorize supplier invoices to Finance Department after shipments. Control the minimum price variance between the actual and standard cost.
• Provide stakeholders with logistics solutions and quotes.
• Advise Vietnam regulation about inbound and outbound logistics.Experience
• Have at least 5-year experience in a similar role.
• Have knowledge of Incoterms in international trade, Vietnam customs.
• English fluency in writing and verbal is a must. Chinese basic is an advantage.

• High integrity, highly organized and committed to deadline.
• Be willing and able to cover the roles of other support team members in their absence, be willing and able to go 'the extra mile' when required.
Other Skills
